This Friday, November 14th, is the end of Trimester 1. During our Taborn Meet Up/Taborn Take Away meetings last week, we discussed the importance of student attendance, charged devices, and support opportunities at home and school. Please take a moment to discuss with your child daily routines and goal setting tips to help support their academic success.

Our Mane Event Fundraiser is off and running! Our first week has raised $675 of our total $7,700 goal. Let’s continue to support our students by raising more money to fund the events that our PTA has provided in past years.

All students remain completely safe. This message is being sent to keep you informed regarding a situation involving a stranger’s inappropriate interaction with a student on the way home from Jay Stream Middle School yesterday, October 16. It is not intended to incite panic.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, an annual observance to raise awareness, reduce the stigma around suicide, and connect individuals with helpful resources.
All students are required to use a school issued combination lock to secure their personal items in their hallway and PE lockers. To purchase a school lock for the hallway or PE locker, the cost is $7.00 each.
